Academy General Information Page
DSC holds Academy sessions in the Fall and in the Winter.
Academy sessions are offered when we do not have House League seasons available, so our DSC players can continue to develop their skills in between seasons. The Academy program is
once-per-week session (30 min technical + 25 min game). This allows players to play a small sided game at the end and showcase all of the skills they learned at the start of each session.
Our program is open to all Western New York families. You do not have to live in the City of Buffalo to join our club!
🍁FALL ACADEMY
Fall Academy typically starts the first week of September and runs 7 weeks!
❄️WINTER ACADEMY
Winter Academy typically starts the first week of November and we offer three different sessions that span the entire winter!

Tom has an extensive background in our local soccer community, including:
- Over 7 years of Director of Coaching experience in Western New York
- 10+ years of youth soccer coaching experience
- 10+ years of youth summer camp coordination
- 10 years as the Assistant Men’s soccer coach at Buffalo State University
- Men’s East Regional Staff of the Year by the United Soccer Coaches (2017)
- 4 year college player at Buffalo State University
- 2 Year Captain
- SUNYAC Commissioner’s academic list
- SUNYAC All-Academic team
- Scholar Athlete
- USSF National "C" License
- All-WNY high school selection

Cardillo joined DSC in the fall of 2022, bringing with him a wealth of soccer experience, while also serving as the current Head Coach of the Men's Soccer Program at Buffalo State University. Along with coaching more than six years of collegiate soccer, he was a stand-out player for the Bengals earning All-SUNYAC honors in both years after transferring from SUNY Canton.
