Orville Roberts-Head Trainer Travel

Orville R. Roberts currently holds his first collegiate position at Hilbert College. Prior to his work with Hilbert, Roberts was the head coach for eight years with the Delaware Soccer Club where his premier-level team won seven of eight championships and many tournaments. Roberts was honored with the Coach of the Year award in 2007, as a result of his team's success. Since 2008, ROberts has also coached a U-18 boy's team for Empire United. 

Born in Jamaica, West Indies where he first learned to love and play soccer, he then decided to move to Syracuse, NY. There he excelled as a four year varisty soccer player at Liverpool highschool. During his two year stint at Morrisville Junior College, Roberts scored 25 goals and dished for 15 assists. After playing for the 2nd ranked national team in 1986, Roberts continued his playing career at Buffalo State College; He was mentored by Coach Jean Tessy and led the Bengals  in scoring one of his two years as an undergraduate. 

Roberts' played for many years in Buffalo DDSL Premier Soccer League, following his graduation with a Bachelor's degree in communications.
