BUFFALO, N.Y. (July 26, 2017) - Thank you to everyone who joined in the Soccerfest celebration Saturday, as more than 1,000 players, parents, friends and fans descended on Delaware Park to enjoy a great day of soccer, sun and fun.
Every year Soccerfest marks the conclusion of the Spring House League and celebrates the friendships, fun and improvements all the soccer players made throughout the season. The players also walked away with a DSC Medallion commemorating their season with the club, while some teams earned trophies for their great play on the field.
Thank you to all the volunteers that helped throughout the season, as the DSC Community continues to grow in strength and numbers. Two community members were lucky raffle winners Saturday, as Jason Redding took half of the pot in the 50/50 raffle, while Leigh Petri walked away with a prize consisting of a DSC travel bag, tee shirt and a certificate for a free registration in the upcoming 2017 Fall House League. Congratulations to both of them. UPDATE: Jason Redding donated his half of the 50/50 winnings back to DSC! THANK YOU JASON!
With the end of spring, Delaware Soccer Club quickly moves into its summer camp offerings with registration currently open for many options throughout July and August. Registration for DSC Travel tryouts is also open, as is registration for the Fall House League, beginning immediately after Labor Day in September.
Thank you again to everyone involved in the spring season and in making Soccerfest such a success. For more than 40 years DSC has been promoting the development of yourth in the Buffalo community through participation in athletic competition, including numerous soccer leagues, camps and clinics for all age groups and all levels of play.
