2019-2020 TRAVEL TRYOUTS
Players who attended an earlier tryout are not required to attend the Sunday, June 23, session, but players are encouraged to do so, if available.

All teams receive age appropriate professional - level coaching from the highly qualified DSC technical staff at every indoor session along with close guidance and direction throughout the spring and summer:
-Brendan Murphy: DSC Director of Coaching, D'Youville Men's Soccer Coach, USSF A License, US Club Soccer National Youth License, 1999 NCAA National Champion with St. Lawrence University, 2017-18 Rochester Rhinos Assistant Coach, 2013-2017 FC Buffalo Head Coach, 2006-2017 New York West ODP Coach.
-Asani Samuels: DSC Technical Director, 2015 USL Finals MVP and USL Champion with the Rochester Rhinos, 4 year starter at Division 1 Canisius College, NCAA D I Regional All-American.
-Rey Martinez: DSC Director of Programming, D'Youville Men's & Women's Assistant Coach, Assistant Coach for Rochester Lancers of MASL2 & NPSL, 17 caps for Cuban National Team 2000-2002, competed professionally in the MLS (Colorado Rapids), USL (Rochester Rhinos 2005-2008).
Reminder - there is no fee to tryout. Invitations will be emailed following the June 23 tryout, after the July 4th holiday week, by mid-July. Families will be asked to submit a $150 deposit at that time to secure the player's roster spot, followed by a $75 monthly payment, Nov.- June. The cost for the U12 & U13 Premier-level teams will be determined shortly. All teams are provided with the following:
-Two practices per week. (Premier-level teams practice 3x per week). During Nov-Apr, one indoor practice will be held at Nardin Academy Athletic Center and one indoor group training will be held at Elmwood Village Charter School on Hertel Ave. A DSC Trainer/Staff on site at each of these sessions unless DOC or Coach opts for practice without. During May-June/July, teams will continue to practice twice per week with a DSC Trainer/Staff on site at least one of those two practices unless DOC or Coach opts for practice without. These facility fees, Trainer fees and field costs are all included in the registration fee.
-Competition in the BWNYJSL once/twice a week, May-June/July. This includes the required NYSWYSA player insurance, U.S. Soccer player pass, Coach background check/Risk Management pass and League bond. (Premier-level teams will likely compete in the Thruway League or possibly the GLC).
-One Outdoor Tournament registration fee is also included in each package. (Premier-level teams will compete in multiple high-level tournaments).
-Additional items covered by the registration fee include various administrative costs, equipment costs and scholarship costs.
Note: The uniform will be an additional cost for two jerseys, shorts and socks. We will be using the same uniforms at the 2018-19 season. Teams have the option to join an indoor league during the winter and/or compete in additional outdoor tournaments at an additional cost. Families are also responsible for all travel, lodging and food costs. Financial aid is available to those demonstrating the greatest need. If you are unable to attend your tryout, please register regardless so we know you are interested. There is an option during registration you can indicate that you're unable to attend.
