Delaware Soccer Club, under the supervision of Rudy Pompert and his staff of trainers, will be offering a free Soccer Academy for individuals interested in playing soccer at a higher level.

This program is for DSC house players interested in developing their skills to get ready for travel tryouts later this year. Eligible participants are 9 years old (having birthdays between August 1, 2000 and July 31, 2001) and 10 years old (born between August 1, 1999 and July 31, 2000).

The program begins Friday, June 4th and will be held every Friday through the end of July. Practice begins at 6 pm and concludes at 7:15. All sessions are at Point of the Meadow. Players are asked to bring a copy of their birth certificate to the first session.

Although this training does not guarantee placement on a travel team, it is intended to help players develop the skills needed for travel soccer. DSC will hold travel tryouts in the Fall for next year's teams.
